2. Observe and adjust the position of the bolt on one side with a flashlight, and move the outer teeth of the adjusting bolt with a straight screwdriver to reduce the gap between the brake shoe and the brake drum to 0.25mm. The
wedge brake design improves the performance of the brake-by-wire. When the driver steps on the brake pedal, the system transmits the electronic brake signal to the network module of the system. Depending on the strength of the sensor reading signal and the received brake signal, the motor rotates the brake wedge to the required position. This movement is driven by the thrust bearing forming a number of roller screw drives, pressing the brake pads and the brake hub together.
